About

I am a clinical medical physicist currently working in a radiation oncology cancer center at a community hospital in Michigan. As I worked through problems I encountered in my practice I noticed there was limited information to help me complete testing and measurements. Journal articles, while helpful, did not always provide the best way to do tasks without specialized phantoms and equipment. Newer reports from the AAPM include some suggestions about how to do things but mostly provide guidance on what, how often, etc. In this site, I will show you how I solved problems like implementing electron Monte Carlo, verifying OSMS in-vivo, and completing daily SRS QA. Search the site to see if I have already covered something you need to know more about. If not, make a suggestion on the contact page. If I have the information to help I will post it.
